Ok folks... so I wanna know if any of you have had success with muleys by hunting from a stand. I know the true way to do it is to still hunt, but last season I found myself wishing I was in my stand on several occations for a better bow shot.
I grew up whitetail hunting in ohio, but have since moved to colorado and have hunted the Aspen area for the past few seasons. I guess Im looking for a good strategy to finally nail something worth shooting. Tell me whatcha got.. any advice?
I'm an Ohio guy myself and haven't hunted Muleys, but I'd say why not? Especially if it helps you get close to a big one. It would be interesting to see if you could use Whitetail strategy to get close. Most of the Muley hunts I've seen on video show the big boys out in open spaces and prarie, rather than in wooded areas. Have you seen some nice ones near Aspen?
