This was our first duck hunt on the Gunpowder River and is quite a memorable one.

We scouted the area on New Years Day morning and the area showed great promise as we saw a decent number of ducks flying once we reached the blind site. The following morning I had pre-hunt excitement and could not sleep as I woke up around 2:30 a.m. after going to bed at 11:30 p.m. and couldn't fall back asleep. Welcome to PHJ! Great to have you join us. Please just let me know if you have any questions about how to use the site or where to get started. Adding a new journal or creating/saving a hunting or scouting map is a great place to start.
