Weekend Grouse Hunt

Took my son (elijah) out for his first weekend of grouse hunting. This will be the first year he gets to hunt. Flushed a couple birds but without a dog finding them is difficult. He is quickly learning how short the opportunity for a shot is when the birds take off. The first bird flushed and he only had time to stare at it. I added it to my vest pocket though. The tempurature was climbing its way up to 90 degrees again this weekend which made the hunts short but still had a great time together.
